Today we physically exam puppies carefully to check for any abnormalities (cleft palets, deformities). We document any NBT (natural bobtails) and if there are rear dew claws present. We also document any coloring that would be a disqualifaction or fault for the show ring.
Names are given after sex is determined and weights are taken to be sure puppies are thriving in the future.
All puppies are verified to have nursed.
